Head instructor and owner Sérgio Rios brings over 19 years of BJJ experience and a decorated competition record as a multiple-time world champion. His teaching philosophy emphasizes creative jiu-jitsu and technical growth, drawing on nearly two decades of grappling and more than ten years of teaching on the mats. The kids’ program is further strengthened by Sophia Nordenö, a black belt under Alfredo Barum with 17 years of experience, who has taught Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and women’s self-defense for over 13 years and competed in major events including ADCC and IBJJF. Rasai also offers striking classes and open mat sessions, creating a space for students to round out their skills or simply enjoy time on the mats.
