PSF Ocala Jiu Jitsu

PSF Ocala Jiu Jitsu, known locally as The Burdhouse, grew out of a simple garage program started by owner and head instructor Jeremy Burd in 2021. After beginning his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey under Eli Knight in Paducah, Kentucky, Jeremy brought his passion to Ocala, training with Clay Mayfield and the Wiltse Brothers before founding his own academy. The Burdhouse moved from its original garage roots to a dedicated facility in March 2023, reflecting a steady growth driven by local demand and Jeremy’s commitment to building something personal for Ocala. At PSF Ocala, students find a gi-based Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program for both adults and kids, with a clear emphasis on practical training and open mat sessions. The kids’ BJJ classes give younger students a structured path into the sport, while adults benefit from regular open mat times that welcome drop-ins and foster cross-training.
