Morrow BJJ

Morrow BJJ in Celina, Ohio, was founded by black belt William “Eddie” Morrow, who has been training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2006. Eddie’s experience and passion for the art led him to open the first dedicated BJJ academy in Mercer County. Alongside him, assistant instructor Nathan Adams brings a wrestling background with years of coaching at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. Nathan joined as a student in 2022 and stepped into an assistant coaching role by late 2023, blending his wrestling knowledge with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques. The academy offers structured training six days a week, balancing Gi and No-Gi classes for adults and children. Sessions typically last an hour and include at least 30 minutes of rolling, emphasizing practical application and live sparring. The kids’ program introduces young practitioners to the fundamentals in a focused setting, while adult classes cover all belt levels, from beginners to advanced students. Morrow BJJ also provides dedicated drilling classes and morning training slots that cater to early risers. Classes at Morrow BJJ focus on the technical aspects of grappling and ground fighting, teaching students to control positions and apply submissions effectively. The gym prioritizes a family-friendly atmosphere and maintains wheelchair accessibility. With a clear lineage and a blend of wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction, Morrow BJJ serves as a local hub for those committed to developing their skills on the mats.
