Martial Arts Nation Lake Nona BJJ is led by Ricardo Liborio, an inaugural IBJJF World Champion and one of the most influential black belts to come out of the Carlson Gracie lineage. The academy’s official site identifies Liborio as head instructor and notes that he personally teaches at the Lake Nona location, making this more than a school that simply borrows his name or affiliation. The program includes gi and no-gi jiu jitsu, kids and women’s training, judo, MMA, Muay Thai and boxing. Howard Graham serves as program director and assistant instructor under Liborio, helping organize the local academy around a senior coach whose career spans world-level sport jiu jitsu and the development of high-level MMA fighters. For grapplers around Lake Nona, Kissimmee and southeast Orlando, this academy is especially compelling if instructor pedigree matters. Direct access to Liborio gives students a connection to an important generation of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu history while the broader program supports families and cross-training martial artists.
