Kronos BJJ

Kronos BJJ in Burwood has been operating since 2018 under the guidance of world champion Leonardo Peçanha, who brings a strong competitive pedigree and deep technical knowledge to the academy. The school focuses on traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training, rooted in practical self-defence and sport grappling. Located in the basement of Burwood Plaza, it serves the local community with a clear emphasis on developing skilled BJJ practitioners through consistent instruction and a structured curriculum. Training at Kronos BJJ covers a full range of levels, from beginners to intermediate adults, with dedicated classes for children, including a PeeWee program. The academy offers sessions six days a week, with evenings Monday through Friday and a morning class on Saturday, accommodating different schedules. Instruction centres on gi training, reflecting the academy’s traditional approach, while promoting fitness, stress relief, and confidence as key benefits of the art. The gym’s schedule allows for steady progression, with classes designed to build fundamental skills before advancing to more complex techniques and live sparring.
