Kingdom BJJ

Kingdom BJJ in Garland, Texas, is built on the idea that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu can bring people together and give everyone a place on the mat. Founded by a group of coaches and students who first started training in a small church, the academy has grown into a dedicated space for BJJ and grappling, welcoming students of all backgrounds. The team is led by owners Eddie Saenz and Cristina Saenz, along with Professors Annemieke Demaggio and Vinny Saenz and coach Josh Morgan. Kingdom BJJ is a proud affiliate of the Lovato Jiu-Jitsu Association, following a curriculum designed by world champion Rafael Lovato Jr., which shapes both their teaching and their approach to student progress. Classes at Kingdom BJJ cover a full range of experience and interests. Beginners start with dedicated intro classes in both gi and no-gi, while more experienced practitioners can move into intermediate and advanced sessions. The academy also runs specialty programs such as a women’s class and a Bully Defense program for kids ages 4–13, reflecting their belief that jiu-jitsu is for everyone, regardless of age or experience. Competition-focused classes and regular open mat sessions give students plenty of chances to test themselves and refine their skills. Student advancement is tracked through a proprietary software system, ensuring a logical and transparent path for promotion. As part of the Lovato Jiu-Jitsu Association, students at Kingdom BJJ benefit from direct access to a proven curriculum and technical resources from one of the most respected American teams in the sport. The academy welcomes visitors and drop-ins, and the schedule includes both gi and no-gi classes for adults, open mat times, and programs designed to build confidence and technical ability from the ground up.
