Claim this gymKansas City BJJ was established in Mission, Kansas, to serve students looking for structured Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training at all stages of their journey. The academy’s schedule reflects a commitment to both tradition and progression, with a strong foundation in gi classes and a well-developed offering of no-gi instruction for adults and youth alike. Adult students at Kansas City BJJ can start their day early with 6:00am gi sessions or focus on fundamentals, technique, and standing strategies in evening classes. Gi training forms the backbone of the curriculum, but no-gi classes are offered multiple times each week, including morning and evening slots. Dedicated competition training sessions and a weekly BJJ Concepts Lab provide opportunities for those interested in refining advanced skills or preparing for tournaments. Open mats on Fridays and Saturdays allow for unstructured practice and rolling. For younger athletes, the academy offers both gi and no-gi youth classes, ensuring that kids have access to age-appropriate instruction while learning the core principles of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The mix of formats and times makes it possible for families with busy schedules to find a training option that fits. Kansas City BJJ’s approach is rooted in consistent, technical instruction and a practical schedule designed to keep students on the mats throughout the week.
