This combination supports practical skill development for both beginners and more experienced practitioners. The academy holds open mat sessions for adults, allowing students to drill and spar freely outside of formal class times. Located inside the Makai Recreation Center at 100 McChord Street, the school accommodates military families and local residents with a variety of class times, including afternoon sessions tailored for homeschoolers.
