Jeremy Horn’s Elite Performance MMA in Sandy, Utah, is helmed by Jeremy Horn, a veteran of over 170 professional fights and a pioneer in mixed martial arts. Born in Omaha, Jeremy began training at age 12, eventually facing and defeating some of the sport’s greatest names in the UFC, PRIDE, and Bellator. Known for his technical submission game and championship runs in King of the Cage and IFC, Jeremy brings decades of experience and a hands-on coaching approach to every student who steps onto the mats. At Elite Performance, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is taught through a mix of introductory and traditional gi classes, with a strong emphasis on fundamentals and classic technique. The schedule includes Intro to BJJ for newcomers and Traditional BJJ for those looking to deepen their skills, as well as combined BJJ/wrestling sessions to round out grappling abilities. Open mat times give students a chance to drill, roll, or work on their own game in an unstructured setting. Classes are open to adults, and drop-ins are welcome. The academy’s 6,000 square foot facility features 2,700 square feet of mat space, heavy bags, and a weight room, supporting both martial arts and fitness goals.
