High Road BJJ

High Road BJJ operates out of Wall 2 Wall Martial Arts in Fredericksburg, Virginia, under the guidance of Professor John Ouano, a black belt with ties to the L.A.-based Team Tsunami. Since joining forces with Sensei Chuck Wall in 2018, the school has focused on traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu rooted in self-defense, competition, and personal growth. The academy embraces a philosophy that extends beyond the mats, encouraging students to “take the High Road” by facing challenges with integrity and perseverance. Classes at High Road BJJ emphasize patience and resilience, reflecting the life lessons embedded in the art itself. Training includes both gi and no-gi formats, with a strong foundation in technique that prepares students for real-world situations as well as tournament competition.
