Originally from Stockton, California, Sean grew up wrestling and later trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Cesar Gracie, working alongside names like Darin Cooley, Nick Diaz, and Nate Diaz. With over a decade on the mats and even longer in grappling sports, Sean brings a practical, fight-tested approach to teaching in Caribou, Maine. The academy’s programs reflect Sean’s broad martial arts background. Students can train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, wrestling, and MMA, with classes for both adults and kids. The Jiu-Jitsu curriculum follows the Gracie tradition, balancing self-defense fundamentals with competitive techniques.
