Gracie Jiu Jitsu Valencia

Gracie Jiu Jitsu Valencia is guided by the principles established by Grand Master Helio Gracie and the original Gracie Humaitá Academy in Rio de Janeiro. The school focuses on self-defense and submission grappling, teaching both gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It serves as the only Gracie Academy in the Santa Clarita Valley and hosts major events and seminars featuring prominent members of the Gracie family and respected black belts from Brazil. Training at the academy is structured to accommodate a range of students, from beginners to competitors. Fundamentals classes provide a clear starting point for new adults, while specialized competition classes prepare grapplers aiming for tournaments. Women’s classes offer tailored instruction to build confidence and technique in both self-defense and competitive settings. Kids’ programs are divided by age groups, including classes for ages 3 to 5 and 6 to 12, with an emphasis on confidence, discipline, and respect through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Beyond BJJ, the academy includes judo and MMA training, supporting students interested in takedowns, striking, and mixed martial arts crossover. Both gi and no-gi formats are available, allowing practitioners to develop skills in grip fighting and the faster pace of no-gi grappling without leaving the gym.
