1183 Diamond Dr Suite C, Los Alamos, NM
GRACIE BARRA Los Alamos Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is guided by Professor Robert Romero, who brings the traditional Gracie Barra curriculum to the Los Alamos community. The academy follows the lineage and structure established by the Gracie Barra organization, focusing on gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as its core discipline. The school was created to offer a dedicated training space where students can develop technique, fitness, and confidence through consistent practice. Classes at the academy include adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sessions that emphasize fundamentals and gradual progression through belt ranks. The program also supports open mat sessions where students of all levels can drill, spar, and refine their skills in a less formal setting. Kids’ classes are part of the schedule as well, designed to teach younger practitioners the basics of jiu-jitsu alongside important values like respect and discipline. Beyond BJJ, the academy offers cardio kickboxing, Muay Thai, and interval training classes, providing options for cross-training and conditioning. The facility is wheelchair accessible and located at 1183 Diamond Drive, Suite C in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Drop-ins are accepted, allowing visitors to experience the academy’s training environment firsthand.
