Global Brazilian BJJ Naples is led by Mestre Denis “Deninho” Mitchel Pinto, an active world medalist whose experience shapes every aspect of the academy. Recognized by the IBJJF, the school emphasizes disciplined training and personal growth over just competition results. Deninho’s vision was to create a place where students of all ages and backgrounds could engage seriously with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, developing both skill and mental toughness in a structured environment. The academy offers a full schedule that includes gi and no-gi classes for adults, with fundamentals and all-levels sessions available throughout the week. Children’s programs are divided by age and experience, starting with Mighty Mights for 3 to 5-year-olds and moving up to specialized classes for tweens and competition-focused kids. Women’s only classes are regularly scheduled, reflecting an effort to provide dedicated space for female practitioners. Open mat sessions are held for active members, allowing extra time for drilling and sparring. Global BJJ also supports the local community through initiatives like the Adopt a Cop program, providing free training to law enforcement officers. The gym serves Naples and surrounding areas, offering drop-in options and a free trial week for newcomers. Training here is built around a philosophy that the mat is a place for honest effort and consistent progress, where technique meets real-world application.
