FlowHouse Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Dania Beach is shaped by the experience and passion of Professor Franklin, who began his journey on the mats in São Paulo at 15 and has been dedicated to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over two decades. Earning his black belt in 2015, Franklin represents the Ryan Gracie Team and has competed at the state level in Brazil. Since moving to Florida in 2023, he has focused on making Jiu-Jitsu accessible to everyone, bringing an inclusive and down-to-earth teaching style to the academy. His leadership reflects a belief that the art is about much more than competition—it’s a path for personal growth on and off the mat. The core of FlowHouse’s approach is a structured curriculum grounded in traditional BJJ, with clear pathways for both new and experienced students. Classes are available for all ages, starting with Baby Warriors (ages 3–4), Little Warriors (5–6), and Kids (7–12), each group learning age-appropriate fundamentals in both gi and no-gi formats. Teens and adults have dedicated gi classes, including fundamentals and advanced randori, as well as no-gi sessions for all levels. FlowHouse is an IBJJF-certified school, and the coaching team emphasizes safety, skill progression, and real-world benefits throughout every program. Since opening its doors in 2014, FlowHouse has grown into a family-driven school where students not only develop as athletes but build confidence and discipline for life outside the academy. The culture, founded by Professor Carlos and carried forward by both Franklin and homegrown black belt instructor Brandon, is rooted in support, respect, and shared growth. Social events and family involvement extend the academy’s impact beyond the mats, making FlowHouse a longstanding part of the Dania Beach martial arts scene.
