Claim this gymEndure Brazilian BJJ Academy was founded by Professor Jesse Cerrone, a Renzo Gracie black belt with nearly two decades of experience training and competing alongside some of the top fighters in the world. Jesse built the academy out of his passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a desire to share the art with people from all walks of life. The school has two training locations in Connecticut, each equipped with high-quality mats that Jesse and his team installed themselves to create a proper training environment. At Endure, classes are organized by age and skill level, with separate programs for kids, teens, and adults. The adult curriculum covers everything from fundamental techniques to advanced moves, including standing work, takedowns, sweeps, and submissions. Training is available in both gi and no-gi formats throughout the week. The staff includes several black and brown belts who have been with the academy for years and bring additional backgrounds in judo, wrestling, and competition experience. Women’s classes are offered on Sundays, and strength and conditioning sessions complement the technical training. Students typically train multiple times per week, with open mat sessions available for anyone wanting extra practice. The academy emphasizes steady progression and personal growth rather than competition pressure. Jesse and his instructors focus on creating a space where people of all ages and fitness levels can come together, learn the art, and improve their health and confidence over time.
