Dennis Jiu Jitsu Club St. Cloud is led by Professor Dennis Lima, a 4th degree black belt with roots tracing back to 1997 training under Professor Renato Tavares in Maringa, Paraná. Dennis transitioned from BTT to Nova União alongside Rodrigo Garcia ‘Feijao,’ where he developed as a competitor and instructor. He earned his black belt from Feijao in 2007 and has since focused on cultivating athletic talent and preparing champions within his own club and through partnerships like CTM in southern Brazil. His experience as both an athlete and coach shapes the club’s approach to training. The academy offers structured classes for all ages, beginning with “Little Warriors” for children ages 4 to 6 and “Rising Champions” for ages 7 to 10. Teens and adults train together in gi classes emphasizing fundamentals and progression under Dennis’s direct instruction. No-gi sessions and open mat times provide additional training variety. The schedule includes midday and evening classes designed to accommodate different lifestyles, with an emphasis on steady skill development and competition readiness. Located in St. Cloud, Florida, the facility is wheelchair accessible and maintains a focus on personalized attention.
