Dallas Judo & Jiu Jitsu

Dallas Judo & Jiu Jitsu has been a part of the Dallas martial arts scene for years, focusing on teaching both judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. While specific details about the founder or coaching lineage are not publicly noted, the academy maintains a steady presence in the area, blending the grappling arts with an emphasis on technique and practical application. Students at Dallas Judo & Jiu Jitsu train in both gi and no-gi formats, with classes designed to cover fundamental movements as well as more advanced techniques. The curriculum supports progression through skill levels, and the school offers instruction across different age groups, including programs for kids. This mix allows practitioners to develop a solid base in both throwing and ground fighting disciplines. Training sessions typically include a combination of drilling, live sparring, and situational practice. The academy also provides opportunities for private lessons and occasional open mat times, giving students a chance to refine their skills outside of regular classes. Located on West Northwest Highway, the facility serves local martial artists interested in both judo’s stand-up grappling and the submission focus of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
