Cobrinha BJJ North Hollywood

Cobrinha BJJ North Hollywood is led by Sungsil “Enzo” Kang, a third-degree black belt who earned his rank directly under Cobrinha in São Paulo, Brazil. Kang has maintained a close training relationship with Cobrinha since 2004 and became his second black belt in 2010. Alongside his coaching, Kang has competed at the highest levels, placing in the top three at major tournaments like the IBJJF World and Pan American Championships. The academy’s mission revolves around providing a safe environment where students of all ages and skill levels can develop self-defense skills, physical fitness, and confidence through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The school offers a structured curriculum that includes fundamentals, intermediate, and competition-level classes for adults, both gi and no-gi. Children start as young as three years old with age-specific programs such as Mini Cobras for ages 3 to 6 and Lil Cobras for ages 7 and up, including competition team training. Classes are designed to meet diverse goals, from self-defense and fitness to preparing for competition. Open mat sessions and private lessons are also available to support individual development and more focused training. Located at 5300 Lankershim Blvd in North Hollywood, the academy provides accessible parking and wheelchair access.
