Clobber Jiu Jitsu Academy

Clobber Jiu Jitsu Academy in Delmar, NY is led by Joe "Clobber" Cashin, a black belt under Brian Beaury. Joe began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2010 and earned his black belt in 2018, building his skills through more than a decade of consistent training, competition, and travel. His experience spans local tournaments as well as major events such as IBJJF and ADCC trials. As an affiliate of Brian Beaury Jiu Jitsu out of Watervliet, Clobber Jiu Jitsu stays connected to a strong lineage and a tradition of competitive excellence. The academy offers a full schedule of gi and no-gi classes for adults and children, with options running mornings, mid-day, evenings, and weekends to accommodate different lifestyles. Kids classes are divided by age group—4-6 years and 7-15 years—so instruction can be tailored to developmental needs. Adults have access to both gi and no-gi classes, dedicated drill sessions, and a women’s no-gi program. All classes are open to any experience or belt level, and membership includes unlimited training. Clobber Jiu Jitsu emphasizes practical skill development and a clear understanding of movement and control, welcoming families and individuals alike. The facility is wheelchair accessible, and drop-ins are welcome. Joe and his team are committed to helping students of all backgrounds grow on and off the mat through disciplined Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training.
