CJJF Central

CJJF Central in Aiea is known locally for its family-focused approach to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with a deep roster of instructors and a wide slate of classes for all ages. The academy is led by Professor Jon Serapion, a second-degree black belt, and is part of the Caveirinha Jiu-Jitsu Family lineage under Aldo “Caveirinha” Januario, a sixth-degree black belt. Since opening its doors in 2018, the school has grown to include over ten instructors, each bringing different strengths and backgrounds, from black belts to experienced coaches in both gi and no-gi. Training at CJJF Central is organized by age and experience level. Kids start as young as four in the Little Champions program, progressing through Little Warriors (7–9), Juniors & Teens (10–15), and even an invite-only Kids No-Gi class. Adult students can begin in white belt-only or introductory gi classes before moving into fundamentals and advanced sessions, with both gi and no-gi options available. The academy also offers judo, striking, and yoga sculpt classes, making it a place where families can train together or explore different aspects of martial arts and fitness under one roof. Beyond the regular class schedule, CJJF Central runs open mats and encourages participation from visiting practitioners. The school’s structure and staff support students interested in competition, self-defense, or simply building confidence and discipline. With its roots in the Caveirinha system and a team dedicated to hands-on teaching, the academy has become a steady presence in the Aiea martial arts scene.
