Circle of Iron BJJ Championships

Circle of Iron BJJ Championships was established in 2013 by a group of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners dedicated to fostering competitive opportunities in the Midwest. Operating out of La Vista, Nebraska, the organization focuses exclusively on hosting bracketed double elimination tournaments for grapplers of all ages and skill levels. Their events include both gi and no-gi divisions, with the Cornhusker State Games Jiu Jitsu Championships among their recurring competitions. The leadership behind Circle of Iron BJJ emphasizes a tournament experience designed around the needs of competitors. This approach shapes the event rules and structure, aiming to maintain the honor and respect intrinsic to the martial art. The staff supports participants with clear communication and assistance throughout each event, reinforcing a respectful and professional atmosphere. Though Circle of Iron BJJ does not function as a training academy, their role in the regional BJJ scene is significant in providing organized competition opportunities. The venue at 8610 Brentwood Drive is wheelchair accessible, accommodating athletes with various needs. Interested grapplers can reach out directly to the organizers for more information on upcoming tournaments and event details.
