Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu Menifee teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu rooted in the Carlson Gracie lineage, with certified black belts leading classes that emphasize both self-defense and competition techniques. The academy introduces beginners carefully by pairing them with advanced students to build a foundation of safety before advancing their training. This approach reflects a steady progression that respects individual development while maintaining the discipline and toughness associated with the Carlson Gracie style. The school offers a variety of classes tailored to different age groups and goals. Kids’ programs focus on building confidence, discipline, and practical self-defense skills, including support for children with autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Adult classes combine self-defense scenarios with competition preparation, while women’s classes emphasize intense workouts grounded in realistic defense situations. The schedule includes early morning sessions, daytime classes, and evening training, accommodating a range of lifestyles and commitments. Under head instructor Orlando Alonso, a black belt with over 30 years of martial arts experience, the academy fosters resilience and mental toughness alongside technical skill. Other instructors bring competitive experience and personal transformation stories that resonate with students. Carlson Gracie Menifee operates by appointment for drop-ins and maintains a family-friendly atmosphere where hard work and camaraderie coexist on the mats.
