Claim this gymBedrock Jiu Jitsu was established in Folsom Ranch to provide more than just a place to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu; it was founded on the belief that the discipline and confidence gained on the mats can build a solid foundation for life off the mats as well. The academy operates out of a wheelchair-accessible facility at 3537 Egret Drive and focuses on fostering personal growth through martial arts. While no specific founder or lineage details are listed, the school’s mission emphasizes nurturing both physical skills and mental resilience. Students at Bedrock train primarily in gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu across all ages, with dedicated classes for adults, kids, and even a Peewee program for the youngest practitioners. The curriculum is structured to support steady development, encouraging students to progress naturally from fundamentals into more advanced techniques under guided instruction. Drop-in students are welcome, reflecting the school’s open approach to training and community involvement. While the academy does not list a formal competition team or specialized programs like no-gi or MMA, its emphasis remains on traditional gi training and building a strong base. The environment is designed to help practitioners of all ages and skill levels grow steadily, with a focus on the positive impact jiu-jitsu can have beyond just physical fitness.
