Aurora BJJ is led by Professor Michael Gerlach, a black belt who earned his rank in 2020 under Professor Brian Stuebner in Springfield, MO. Gerlach's training includes time with notable figures such as Caio Terra and Eddie Bravo, and he remains active in seminars to deepen his understanding of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Alongside him, Nicholas Lewis, a black belt and decorated competitor with international titles, contributes his extensive experience from over a decade on the mats. Their combined backgrounds shape a curriculum grounded in practical technique and competitive insight.
