601 Hitchcock St Suite 105, Plant City, FL
Ares BJJ Plant City is led by Renshi Q, a 7th Degree Black Belt with over 30 years of experience in martial arts. He has competed nationally with the Bad Boys National Karate Team and Team USA. The academy blends Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with striking arts like karate, Muay Lao, and kickboxing, offering a wide range of classes that reflect this diverse background. The school’s approach emphasizes discipline, confidence, and humility alongside technical skill. The academy runs programs for all ages, including an after-school program that picks up children from local schools. This program combines homework time, snacks, and martial arts training, aiming to support both academic progress and physical development. Students train in both gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as well as striking and self-defense, with options for personal training and fitness classes. Located at 601 Hitchcock St Suite 105 in Plant City, the facility is wheelchair accessible and family owned. The focus here is on steady progress through consistent practice and building respect for the art and each other. Open mats and private lessons are available to help students refine their technique beyond regular classes.
