Sessions begin with warm‑ups and basic movement drills before moving into technique work; the school offers both gi and no‑gi training and states that beginners can try a first class without prior experience. Ancaster Jiu Jitsu operates from basement room 1 at 88 Wilson St W, beside the United Family Martial Arts Club in Ancaster (Hamilton), Ontario. The facility is presented as a tidy, age‑appropriate teaching space used for regular classes, birthday parties and summer camp programs. Contact routes listed include a phone number (905‑741‑1784) and email (ancasterbjj@gmail.com), and more information is available through the academy website and social profiles. The coaching team is led by Coach Clyde with Coach Mike as assistant; both are shown on the academy’s About page and are described as the on‑site instructional staff following a structured curriculum. Class emphasis, according to the academy, is on safety and progressive learning rather than immediate sparring, with instructors certified to work with children and adults. Practical notes for prospective students: the academy notes a free trial session can be claimed via an online form, classes are split by age and experience, and the programming names Ancaster and surrounding communities among those it serves.
