Alliance Jiu Jitsu Yucaipa

Alliance Jiu Jitsu Yucaipa is headed by Doctor Sunny “Pin” Diego, a three-time IBJJF Pan Americans champion and two-time IBJJF American Nationals champion who opened the academy in May 2022. Drawing from his own competitive experience and the long history of the Alliance Jiu-Jitsu association, which was founded in 1993 by Romero “Jacare” Cavalcanti and has earned thirteen world championships, Diego aims to pass on not only technique but also the values of discipline, hard work, and honor that define the team. His approach blends traditional Alliance principles with his personal coaching style, emphasizing leading by example. Students at the Yucaipa location can expect structured classes across multiple age groups, including gi and no-gi training for small kids, juniors, and adults. Fundamentals classes help beginners build a solid base, while more advanced sessions and occasional competition-focused classes support those preparing for tournaments. Open mat sessions are available for all adults to drill and spar freely. The academy also offers private lessons for personalized attention. The schedule reflects a balance of technical instruction and opportunities to develop through live training. The facility is wheelchair accessible and located at 32355 Yucaipa Blvd, serving the local community with a focus on serious training and personal growth.
