ALLIANCE JIU JITSU MARTIAL ARTS in Coral Springs is led by Nei Seda, a sixth-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who also holds a black belt in judo. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Professor Seda began his martial arts journey at six years old and brings decades of experience to the mats. Supported by a team of black belts and dedicated coaches, Seda has built an academy that reflects both the technical rigor and the lineage of the Alliance organization, one of the most accomplished teams in the history of the sport. Training at Alliance Coral Springs centers on structured programs for kids and adults, with both gi and no-gi classes. The academy offers dedicated children’s classes, including a homeschool daytime program for ages 5–12, and separates instruction by age and experience. Adults can train in all-levels gi and no-gi classes, with open mat sessions available for those who want extra time to roll. The curriculum emphasizes not just ground techniques but also takedowns and stand-up skills, drawing on Professor Seda’s deep judo background. Alongside Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the academy offers Judo, women’s self-defense, and specialized training for law enforcement. The facility welcomes drop-ins and is wheelchair accessible. Whether students are focused on self-defense, competition, or building confidence, they’ll find instruction grounded in experience and a direct connection to Alliance’s international tradition.
