Alliance Jiu Jitsu Eagle HQ

Alliance Jiu Jitsu Eagle HQ was established as part of the renowned Alliance network, under the leadership of Master Alexandre “Gigi” Paiva, a 7th-degree coral belt and one of the original Alliance founders. Master Gigi’s journey in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu began in 1983, and his dedication to technical excellence and mentorship has shaped the academy’s approach from the start. With more than 35 years of experience and a legacy that includes coaching multiple world champions, he continues to guide the Eagle location, ensuring that the values and standards of Alliance’s championship lineage are at the heart of every class. The teaching team at the academy features a blend of world-class competitors and passionate instructors. Professor Daniela Genovesi, an IBJJF Black Belt World Champion and 6th-degree black belt, leads classes in both Eagle and East Boise, drawing on her deep experience in BJJ and endurance sports. Professor Lunna Vieira, an IBJJF World Champion promoted to black belt by Master Paiva in 2022, brings energy and a strong technical foundation to her instruction. Brown belt Professor Antonio Genovesi and other coaches contribute to a lively, competitive environment, while also supporting students who are newer to the art. Students at Alliance Eagle HQ can expect a structured, progressive curriculum rooted in traditional gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with an emphasis on both technical development and personal growth. Programs include instruction for children focused on motor development and foundational skills, as well as adult classes that cater to a range of experience levels. The academy is wheelchair accessible and maintains a family-centered atmosphere, reflecting Alliance’s global reputation for unity and high standards on and off the mats.
