All American Jiu Jitsu - Vital Brothers BJJ BP was built on the idea that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu can help people of all backgrounds find self-confidence through practical self-defense. Head Professor Renan Vital leads the academy, bringing deep experience as a black belt under Roberto “Gordo” Correa and Paulo “Rabicco” Perrota. The coaching staff includes Harry Chung, Daniel Orozco, and Mike Kim—each with their own history of competition success and years spent developing students on the mats in Buena Park. Classes at the academy cover both gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for adults and kids. Adult classes run throughout the week, with separate sessions for gi and no-gi training, and open mat times for members to roll, drill, and ask questions. Kids’ programs include both gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu, as well as youth wrestling for ages 5–13, giving younger students a strong foundation in grappling and mat awareness. High school wrestling sessions are also offered during the school year. The academy is active in supporting veterans through its partnership with the We Defy Foundation, providing scholarships and long-term training opportunities for combat veterans. Women’s self-defense classes are available by appointment, and private or small group lessons can be arranged directly with the instructors. Drop-ins are welcome, and the facility is wheelchair accessible, making it possible for more people to experience what the gym has to offer.
