1601 S Roosevelt Dr, Seaside, OR
Adamson Bros Jiu Jitsu Academy in Seaside is led by brothers Nathan and Zachary Adamson, who received their black belts directly from Rafael Lovato Jr. The academy says it has been developing students for more than a decade and now trains under a staff that includes five black belts, giving the Oregon Coast school significantly more senior-belt depth than most small-market academies. The coaching environment includes experience around world champions, Pan champions, national champions and professional MMA fighters. Women’s classes are specifically represented in the current profile, and the academy’s Lovato lineage gives students a direct connection to one of the strongest American-developed BJJ coaching trees. For grapplers on the northern Oregon Coast, the academy stands out because students do not have to drive into Portland to find a room with multiple black belts and a nationally recognizable lineage. The Adamson brothers’ direct connection to Lovato Jr. and the school’s long local history give Seaside a surprisingly deep BJJ option.
