The academy focuses on teaching authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu through a structured curriculum that emphasizes self-defense, fitness, and competition readiness. Instruction covers both gi and no-gi training, with classes designed to help students build practical grappling skills alongside mental resilience and personal growth. Students at 719 Brazilian BJJ train in a facility that supports a range of programs including adult classes, a kids program, and open mat sessions. The kids program aims to develop confidence, discipline, and respect through age-appropriate drills and games, while adult classes blend technical instruction with live sparring to prepare students for real-world applications and sport competition. No-gi classes complement the traditional gi curriculum by focusing on submission grappling and wrestling techniques. The academy’s schedule provides consistent training opportunities throughout the week, including weekday evening classes and Saturday morning open mats where students can drill techniques and spar freely. The environment is built around a team culture that values respect and encouragement, creating a place where individuals at different skill levels can advance safely and effectively under expert supervision.
