That cross-disciplinary background shapes how fundamentals are taught at the academy, with an emphasis on concepts that carry over between grappling and stand-up ranges.
Luigi Cuellar
Luigi Cuellar is a BJJ purple belt under Marcos Santos who also holds full instructor certification in Jun Fan Gung Fu/JKD, Muay Thai, and Filipino martial arts (Inosanto lineage), a Tang Soo Do black belt, and a Combat Submission Wrestling coaching certification under Erik Paulson. He runs NuBreed Martial Arts in Whitestone, Queens, teaching a cross-discipline grappling and striking curriculum rather than a BJJ-specific one.
